What GoRunny does today

GoRunny features

GoRunny is a QR code ordering and pay-at-table system for restaurants, cafés & bars, hotels & resorts, events & festivals, bowling & leisure and all-you-can-eat. One QR code on the table runs the menu, the order, the kitchen display, the payment and the fiscal receipt. This is the full list of what it does today, and what it does not.

Menu

A QR code for every table
Each table, room, sunbed or lane gets its own code, grouped by area, so every order arrives with its place.
Photos, allergens and notes
Every dish shows its photo, price, allergens and a note. Guests can filter the whole menu by allergen.
201 languages
The menu is translated automatically into the guest’s language, and the venue can edit any translation.
Import from a spreadsheet
Bring the menu in from CSV or Excel (.xlsx), or build it in the admin. Changes show the moment they are saved; printed codes never change.
Your brand
The venue’s colours, type and logo, on its own gorunny.com address.
Happy hour on a schedule
Pick the days and hours, even past midnight. It starts and stops on its own.

Ordering

Order from the table
The menu opens in the phone’s browser: no app, no account. The order reaches the kitchen the moment the guest sends it.
Order now, pay at the end
Dine-in rounds go to the kitchen or bar straight away; the table pays once, on the way out.
Refills, pairings and suggestions
One tap reorders the last drink. Pairings and basket suggestions offer the side, the wine or the dessert.
A waiter app
Staff take orders on their own phone for guests who would rather not scan. They reach the kitchen the same way.
Call the waiter
Guests call for service or ask for the bill from the menu; staff get a push on their phone.
Takeaway and pickup
Guests order ahead, pay on their phone and collect at the counter, as soon as possible or at a chosen time.
All-you-can-eat rounds
Rounds per guest with item caps, a pause between rounds and a time limit, and premium extras charged on top.

Kitchen and floor

Kitchen display by course
Each table’s order is sorted into drinks, starters, mains and desserts, and mains can be held until the table is ready. Any screen or tablet works.
Tablets and printers per station
As many kitchen and bar screens as the venue wants, plus receipt printers (ESC/POS) or printing from the browser.
Service timing
Owners see where the minutes of a service go: from the order to the kitchen, the pass, the floor and the bill.

Payments and receipts

Pay at the table
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through the venue’s own Stripe, Mollie, Unzer or SumUp account, or cash with the waiter.
Split the bill
Each guest pays all of it, their own items, or the items they pick, from their own phone.
0% commission
A flat subscription. Money goes straight to the venue’s payment provider; GoRunny never holds it and takes no cut.
RKSV receipts in Austria
Every receipt is signed through fiskaly under Austria’s RKSV. No smartcard, no extra hardware.

Guests who come back

Retention tools live inside the menu, so they work from the first visit without an app.

Stamp cards and bingo cards
A stamp card fills as the guest orders the dishes it counts; a bingo card asks them to try different ones. The prize is a free item, a percentage off or an amount off. Stamps are added automatically when an order is completed.
Promotions
A free item over a minimum order, a spin-the-wheel prize, happy hour and a menu banner, each on its own schedule.
Events and sign-ups
Guests sign up for the venue’s nights from the menu: free, with a ticket or with a deposit, and get an email confirmation.
Feedback after payment
Guests rate their visit from 1 to 5, with a comment, on the receipt.
Guest accounts, optional
Guests can sign in with an emailed code or Google to keep their cards across phones. Nobody has to.
Returning-guest analytics
First and last visit, number of orders, spend and stamp progress per returning guest, and retention by cohort.

Not available yet

So nobody has to guess, here is what GoRunny does not do today:

  • Email or SMS marketing campaigns to guests
  • Push notifications to guests (staff phones get push; guests see live updates while their menu is open)
  • Stamp cards in Apple Wallet & Google Wallet (announced, not built)
  • Promo codes, vouchers or gift cards that a guest types in
  • A points-and-tiers loyalty scheme the venue configures itself (stamp cards are the loyalty tool)
  • Delivery with couriers (pickup and takeaway only)
  • German fiscal signing (TSE), so no venues in Germany yet
